The Project Manager will facilitate the nomination project as it moves along to completion. The manager is a member of the Project Management Committee but is employed by Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in so is ultimately accountable to the Heritage Director. The manager will work with the Advisory and Project Management Committees, contractors, scholars and the Parks Canada National Office advisors to:
- Provide administrative support to the committees
- Coordinate the community engagement process
- Compose a Statement of Outstanding Universal Value that is supported by the Advisory Committee, all regional stakeholders, the public and the Parks Canada National advisors, and
- Undertake all necessary work to coordinate the development and delivery of the nomination proposal for Tr’ondëk-Klondike.
